A little guidance. More room to create.
How can we help?
Start with a drawing, an image or a description. Follow a tutorial for your device, or connect an agent to your 3D studio.
Your first character, in five minutes
For kids and anyone starting out. Try a friendly cloud wearing rain boots!
- Open the drawing studio. Choose a color and draw a cloud. Wobbly lines are welcome.
- Add boots, eyes and a smile. Tap Undo whenever you want another try.
- Save your original. Drawing is free and does not need an account.
- Want to see a new look? Sign in, choose a style and check the creation cost. Younger creators: ask a parent or trusted adult to help with accounts and purchases.
- When you like an artwork, open the 3D studio and review its separate conversion cost. You can keep drawing without generating anything.
Describe an imaginary character instead of including your address, school or other personal details.
Three ways to begin
| Start with | Website | iOS app | Public API / MCP |
|---|---|---|---|
| A drawing | Draw on the canvas | Finger or Apple Pencil | Upload an exported drawing as an image |
| An image | Upload in Drawing studio or 3D studio | Use the web upload flow in Safari | PNG/JPEG upload → 3D |
| A text description | My written idea; type or dictate | Start with an idea; type or dictate | Quote a description → create 2D artwork → quote 3D. |
AI artwork is a 2D image. Creating a textured 3D model is a separate step with a separate quote.
Draw it yourself · web tutorial
- Open Drawing studio. Keep “My drawing” selected under Start from.
- Choose a brush, color and size, then draw with a finger, pen or mouse.
- To color a region, draw a closed outline with Pen, choose the color, select Fill bucket and tap inside. Select a brush to resume drawing.
- Use Save original to keep a browser draft, or Download PNG to keep a file. Browser drafts stay in this browser; clearing browser data may remove them.
- Choose a style and Standard or Premium quality. Add a description if it helps explain your drawing.
- Choose Check creation cost, then confirm Create image when the price is right. Your original stays available.
- Choose Create 3D model on a finished image to review a 3D quote.
Upload an image · web tutorial
Turn an existing image into 3D
- Sign in and open 3D studio.
- Choose Upload character image. Use PNG or JPEG, up to 5,000,000 bytes and 16–4096 pixels per side. A single full-body character on a simple background works best.
- Confirm that you have permission to use the image, then choose Upload image. Uploading uses no generation credits.
- Select the uploaded image and choose Review 3D conversion.
- Review the 12-credit cost before choosing Create 3D model. Leave the job to finish; you can return to your collection later.
- Rotate the completed model and download its GLB file.
Reimagine an image before creating 3D
In Drawing studio, choose Upload drawing below the canvas. This flow accepts PNG/JPEG up to 4 MB, fits the image to the canvas and lets you add marks or generate a new 2D style. Download your current drawing first if you want an extra copy before replacing the canvas.
For automated uploads, follow the API workflow or MCP setup.
Enter a text description
- On the web, open Drawing studio in text mode and select My written idea. On iOS, choose Start with an idea.
- Describe the character, its materials, colors and pose. Write at least 10 characters and no more than 1,000.
- Try: “A small fox astronaut with a blue suit, a round helmet and a sunflower backpack, standing on two feet.”
- Type your description or tap Tell your idea to dictate. Allow microphone access when asked. You can edit the words before creating.
- Choose an art style and quality, review the cost, then create the image.
- Like the result? Open Create 3D model and review the separate conversion quote.
For code or agents, use the text-description API tutorial. MCP tools quote_artwork and create_artwork generate a 2D image from your description. Pass its sourceID to quote_model to continue to 3D, with separate approval for each cost.
iPhone & iPad
The native app is available to invited TestFlight testers. See iOS availability. You can also use the website in Safari.
- Tap New drawing. Draw with your finger or Apple Pencil.
- Choose a color. Select Fill bucket, then tap inside a closed outline. Filling a blank page colors the whole page.
- If color spreads outside, tap Undo, choose Pen, close the gap and try again. Thin pencil lines and transparent marker strokes may not make a solid boundary.
- Select Pen to resume drawing. Use Save and close to return to your collection.
- Choose Bring it to life to explore an AI style, or use Start with an idea from the home screen for a text description.
Original drawings save on this device. Signed-in cloud artwork and your credit balance are available across the web and app. To upload an existing image, open 3D studio in Safari.
Developers & AI agents
- Sign in at API keys & MCP. Create a named key with a total credit allowance. Copy it once and keep it private.
- For a local agent, follow MCP setup: download the connector, install its dependencies and configure your key plus upload/download folders.
- For your own integration, follow API workflow and the OpenAPI reference. Send the key as a Bearer token.
- Upload an image, get a quote, show the cost to the user and obtain approval before creating the model.
- Reuse the same request ID and quote when retrying. Check status every 15 seconds or slower, then download the authenticated GLB.
Keys expire after 90 days and share your account’s credit balance. Their total spending allowance does not reset monthly. They cannot buy credits. Revoking a key prevents new requests but does not cancel a running model.
The MCP connector runs locally over stdio. It is not a hosted MCP URL. Never put a private key into public browser code or a shared repository.
When something gets stuck
The fill bucket colors too much or seems to do nothing
Choose a visibly different color, select Fill bucket and tap inside the shape rather than on its outline. Close all gaps using Pen. On the web, lower Fill tolerance if color crosses faint lines. Use Undo to reverse a fill. In iOS, check that you are using the latest TestFlight build; you can also try the web canvas in Safari.
I cannot find my API key
Open Your space → API keys & MCP, or go directly to the developer page. A key is displayed only when created. If you lost it, revoke that connection and create a new key.
My agent cannot connect
Use a client with local stdio MCP support and Node.js 22+. Run the install step, use absolute paths, create both configured folders and restart the client. Check that your key is not expired or revoked. A spending-limit error requires a new key with an appropriate allowance; buying credits does not change an existing key’s cap.
A generation is taking a while
3D generation continues on the server when you leave. Return to your 3D collection to check status. For an uncertain API result, reuse the same request ID and quote; do not start a second paid request. Failed generations restore their generation credits.
What do credits pay for?
Drawing is free. Standard AI images use 1 credit, Premium images use 4 and 3D models use 12. Uploads, quotes, status checks and downloads do not use generation credits. Review each quote before creating. Purchases depend on account availability.
Can I print or animate my model?
You can download a textured GLB. AI imagines unseen sides, and the model may need cleanup for printing or games. Models are not guaranteed to be rigged for animation.
Still need a hand?
